Hello
My name is Rodrigo Santos.
With over fifteen years of expertise in user experience and product design, I have designed digital systems and services for the finance, digital television, government, and healthcare sectors. My design approach emphasizes collaboration, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to identify constraints and capacities to deliver products and initiatives that address the needs, preferences, and expectations of users, customers, and other stakeholders. I am currently a PhD candidate at the University of British Columbia School of Information, where I investigate how information design can support local communities to create situated systems that support adaptive futures.
Since 2015, I live as uninvited guest on the unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples of the Səlil̓wətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations.
Please contact me to learn more about me and my work.
